On September 30th Berk was joined by Johnny Hess, Program Drirector od the Pride Institute, to discuss addiction recovery in the GLBT community.
Pride Institute is the first in chemical dependency and behavioral health services for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities. A safe and comfortable place to recover.
On September 23rd Berk was joined by Carol Falkowski, Director of Research Communications, Hazelden Foundation, to discuss what's new in the world of drug abuse and how adolescent drug abuse today differs from the past. From meth abuse amoung teens to "pharming" on Saturday nights.
Hazelden will help more people sustain lifelong recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs. We will accomplish this through a commitment to treatment, publishing, education, research, public advocacy and shared learning with other organizations.
On September 16th Berk was joined by Cindy Murphy Kelly, Executive Director of Chrysalis, to discuss women’s programming and chemical health and wellness.
Chrysalis helps women, children, and families transform their lives.
On September 9th Berk was joined by Dave Hadden, Assistant Director of the Augsburg College StepUP Program, to discuss sober college programming and young adult issues.
The StepUP program provides ongoing support to students committed to sobriety and recovery from alcohol and other drugs.
