November 11th Berk was joined by Carol Colleran the renowned internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, specializing in the treatment of addictive disorders in older adults.

Sandy Brustuen on Compulsive Gambling

November 4th Berk was joined by Sandy Brustuen, NCGC, LADC Sandy is the Coordinator of Project Turnabout / Vanguard.

The Vanguard program is designed to offer the help and hope necessary to make recovery and life-long abstinence from gambling a reality. A team of professionals, including licensed counselors, physicians, nurses and psychologists, as well as a chaplain and a physical fitness trainer, along with the client, make up the treatment team.
