Examples include: difficulty accepting the role of a patient; difficulty asking for help; workaholism or using work as an escape from facing one's issues; and poor self-care.

Hazelden's new Women's Recovery Center is designed to address the unique needs of women in recovery. With a 400% increase calls requesting treatment for women, the center will provide specific care to more women.
